Reguvale’s double offset butterfly valve (high-performance) offsets the shaft both behind the disc centerline and from the body centerline, so the disc swings away from the seat immediately on opening — reducing friction, wear and operating torque compared with concentric designs.
Engineered for higher pressure and temperature service than concentric rubber-seated valves — up to 230°C with soft seats. Ideal for oil & gas, chemical processing, HVAC and water treatment where reliable shutoff and long seat life matter.
Body materials: ductile iron GGG50, carbon steel WCB, stainless steel CF8/CF8M. Seat: EPDM / NBR / PTFE / Viton (soft-seated high-performance). Flanged ends per EN 1092 / ASME B16.5. Manual gear, pneumatic or electric actuation available.
Disc swings away from the seat on opening — less rubbing, longer seat life, lower torque.
Handles higher pressure and temperature than concentric rubber-seated valves, up to 230°C.
Class V/VI leakage performance for reliable isolation in demanding service.
EPDM, NBR, PTFE or Viton seats to match media and temperature.
90° operation with manual gear, pneumatic or electric actuator.
Ductile iron, carbon steel or stainless steel to match your piping spec.

Pipeline isolation and process control where higher pressure and reliable shutoff are required.
Corrosive and moderate-temperature media with PTFE or Viton seats.
Chilled water and heating systems needing longer seat life than concentric valves.
Intake, distribution and backwash lines with demanding duty cycles.
A double offset butterfly valve has the shaft offset both behind the disc centerline and from the body centerline. This makes the disc swing away from the seat immediately on opening, reducing friction and wear compared with concentric designs.
Double offset valves typically use soft seats and operate up to about 230°C. Triple offset adds a conical metal seat for Class V shutoff up to 550°C. Choose double offset for high-performance soft-seated service, triple offset for severe metal-seated service.
Double offset butterfly valves are used in oil & gas, chemical processing, HVAC, water treatment and other applications where higher pressure, temperature and longer seat life than concentric valves are needed.
