Full PTFE Body Lining · PTFE Seat · Acids · Alkalis · Aggressive Chemicals
Reguvale’s PTFE lined butterfly valve has the body interior fully lined with PTFE (Teflon) plus a PTFE seat, giving near-universal chemical resistance for corrosive acids, alkalis, solvents and aggressive media.
Ideal for chemical processing, dosing and transfer lines, pickling plants, wastewater treatment and any service where rubber seats would be destroyed. The PTFE lining protects the ductile iron body while the PTFE seat provides bubble-tight shutoff.
Body materials: ductile iron GGG50 with full PTFE lining. Seat: PTFE. Flanged ends per EN 1092 / ASME B16.5. Available with manual lever, gear, pneumatic or electric actuation.
PTFE resists almost all acids, alkalis, solvents and aggressive chemicals.
Entire body interior is PTFE-lined, protecting the ductile iron shell from corrosion.
-200°C to +200°C covers most chemical processing applications.
PTFE seat provides Class VI bubble-tight sealing against corrosive media.
Manual lever, gear, pneumatic or electric actuation for flexible automation.
Fewer moving parts, no lubrication, long service life in corrosive duty.

Acid and alkali transfer, dosing and reactor feed lines.
Hydrochloric and sulphuric acid service in metal processing.
Aggressive chemical dosing and transfer in treatment plants.
Pure and aggressive media handling with full corrosion protection.
A PTFE lined butterfly valve has the body interior fully lined with PTFE (Teflon) and a PTFE seat, giving near-universal chemical resistance for corrosive acids, alkalis and aggressive media.
PTFE resists nearly all acids, alkalis, solvents and aggressive chemicals across a wide temperature range, making it ideal for chemical processing, dosing and transfer lines.
PTFE lined butterfly valves typically operate from -200°C to +200°C, covering most chemical processing applications.
A fully lined valve protects the entire body interior from corrosion, not just the sealing surface. This matters for aggressive media that contact the body wall.
